| Alternate Solution 4 |
This solution will be using wheels and tires. The tread on the tire will be much like that of a mud terrain tire so it will be able to glide over the sand easily. There will be two motors in the back of the vehicle that will power each separate wheel. Since there will be two motors in the back that will be how the robot steers in the direction that we want it to.
However, the vehicle will only be able to make slight turns. Also the vehicle will have to be moving for it to be able to turn anywhere. Because of this the vehicle might not be the best vehcile for the dune terrain that needs a vehicle that can make sharp turns.
